We believe that K-LINE has been
providing a best service for the transportation of passenger cars as well
as Buses, Heavy Trucks and Excavators from Korea to all over the world.
It is a sure that we are ready to comply with any kinds of your
requirements for car transportation from and to everywhere by PCC now
operating about 68 vessels. During the year ended March 31, 2000, 7.5 million units were carried by sea in global trades, out of which "K" LINE carried 1.5 million units with 68 specialized vessels. Our portion of share reached around 20 %. As of March 31, 2000 we are operating 68 PCCs with an epoch-making case-the Nippon Highway with a capacity of 5,053 units of vehicles was delivered on November 20, 1999. It is the first of the five Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) delivered over 1999 and 2000. Back in1968 our Car Bulker, the Toyota Maru No.1, was taken delivery of. Since then, "K" LINE has consistently prouded passion and energy to being the leader in the field of the marine transport of vehicular cargo. In 1970, the Toyota Maru No.10, Japan's first pure car carrier was input into service followed by the European Highway, the world's largest and fastest carrier in 1973.
